Extra lighting & visual effects will be used to add an extra dynamic to this unique experience. Participation on this spectacular night is positively encouraged in everyway. Come dressed in fluorescent rave wear, classic Hip Hop styles of the 80’s/90’s, don your sunglasses, and break out the glow sticks. Join in the revelry as we come together to celebrate the relevance of this important sub-culture & of course UB Radio’s 2nd anniversary.
Relive the birth and rise of Hip-Hop & its impact on today’s urban culture. Immerse yourself in the founding moments of House & Techno, feel how the music has influenced and shaped a generation. Rewind back to the early days of Acid House, Jungle & Drum & Bass as ‘The History of the Underground’ is unraveled before your eyes, and once again captures the hearts & minds of free thinking individuals.
The 2 days following this event are reserved for Buddhist lent and alcohol sales will be prohibited. Many of us will also have those days as holiday, so it’s going to be our last chance to really party hard over the weekend and relax afterwards.
